Faculty Cornerstone Question #1

What do you think students want in a syllabus? What new thing will you include in your syllabus this year or what change will you make and why?

Clear schedule
Explanation of how the class is run (lecture, discussion...)
What is expected of the student

Regarding library instruction: I will clarify my reasons for teaching Information literacy/Library instruction. I do not teach these principles solely for entertainment; I teach to encourage students to think more deeply about their topic and to present alternative resources to enhance classroom learning.
